pet peeves

i was talking to someone today about pet peeves. so, in honor of things that get on my nerves, here are some of my pet peeves:

  • people who drive slow on the left lane (that's what right lanes were created for!)
  • people who shake their legs when sitting next to me
  • people who chew loudly with their mouths
  • people who talk loudly on the train esp. in the morning when all i need is some peace and quiet
  • people who talk LOUDLY and SLOWLY to me because they assume i can't speak english (i no speak korean...i speak engrish!)

so...what are some of YOUR pet peeves?

elee's recommendations of the week...

song:

Why does love always feel like a battlefield?

movie:

Subtle yet funny view at different types of families.

Great acting and plot.

John Krasinski and Maya Rudolph are superb!

tv show:

It is down to the Top 6!

I love this show even...

Mary's HOT TAMALE train and loud, screeching scream!

book:

I know some people had issues with how God was portrayed.

I found it interesting and made me question as to how I view God

Whether you agree or not, it's worth the read.

forgotten city...NO MORE...

Blessed Be Your Name
In the land that is plentiful
Where Your streams of abundance flow
Blessed be Your name

Blessed Be Your name
When I'm found in the desert place
Though I walk through the wilderness
Blessed Be Your name

Every blessing You pour out
I'll turn back to praise
When the darkness closes in, Lord
Still I will say

Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your glorious name

Blessed be Your name
When the sun's shining down on me
When the world's 'all as it should be'
Blessed be Your name

Blessed be Your name
On the road marked with suffering
Though there's pain in the offering
Blessed be Your name

You give and take away
You give and take away
My heart will choose to say
Lord, blessed be Your name

NOLA '09

"For the LORD will rebuild Zion and appear in his glory. He will respond to the prayer of the destitute; he will not despise their plea."
